I started sewing as a child, and I have been making formal and bridal attire for over 20 years. I noted how difficult it was for people to get to fittings during store hours, and how women could not wait to "get out of their dress" at the wedding reception. These observations have created a couple of my goals—such as to do fittings in the evenings or weekends and to make the garment so comfortable that brides enjoy their wedding day as much as possible!

When I begin work, I show the bride a selection of fabric samples—from silks to polyester—and a selection of lace—from delicate organza and embroidered English netting to beaded re-embroidered laces. I work closely with the bride in order to capture the design she has dreamed of.

I then fashion the gown out of muslin for the first fitting. With the "muslin model," we can customize the style of the gown even further—change the neckline or sleeves, drape the skirt to the most becoming fit for the bride, etc. Using the muslin model as our pattern, I can begin work on the selected fabrics!

Whether it is hand-beaded, embroidered, embellished, or elegantly simple, your gown will be an original design that has been made specifically to fit you!

Assistance in dressing on the day of your wedding can be arranged as well.
